Established in 1896 as the Briggs-Weaver Machinery Company, Briggs Equipment has experienced just about every change that has occurred in the industry, but our commitment to our customers has never wavered. While we’re deeply proud of our past, we are even more excited about our future.
Serving some of the largest markets in the United States, Briggs Equipment operates 19 locations throughout Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, and Florida. We offer new and used industrial equipment, service and parts, forklift rental and fleet management. Our principle products include: material handling equipment, forklifts, terminal tractors, telescoping booms, scissor lifts and railcar movers from Yale, Taylor, Ottawa, Genie and others.
Ranked largest in the world by many of the manufacturers we represent, we have earned our leading-edge position by developing the best people, investing in the right technology, and listening to thousands of customers to understand their goals and needs. Primarily, we are the proud distributor for Yale, Taylor forklifts, Kalmar/Ottawa, Trackmobile and Genie lifts. In addition, we sell and service Atlas Copco, Broderson, Cascade, Drexel, GNB and Exide Industrial Battery, Mobile Pallet Trucks, Moffett, Motrec, Pettibone, Sellick, Skyjack, Tennant and Teledyne Princeton at our locations in Dallas, Brownsville, Harlingen, Corpus Christi, Freeport, Houston, Beaumont, Laredo, San Antonio, and Austin, TX; Baton Rouge, and Jefferson/New Orleans, LA; Jackson, MS; Mobile, AL; Rome, Atlanta and Columbus, GA; and Orlando, FL.
